Recently Camilla’s Fire Chief Jamie Sullivan attended the Georgia Fire Chiefs’ Spring Training session in Savannah.  The conference started with a motivational speech on the “Power of Team” from football legend Coach Bill Curry. 
Next, the event covered a fire service response to the newer Lithium-ion battery storage systems used with electric cars and solar energy projects, firefighter cancer, and early heart disease detection.
Finally, the fire chiefs received updates from the State of Georgia Fire Service agency heads and the Insurance Service Office.  Sullivan said it is an excellent opportunity to network with other Fire Chiefs from across the Georgia and have the chance to look at the latest firefighting equipment, products, and services showcased by the exhibitors.
