Mayor Owens commented, "Today was another great example of the importance of collaboration. The Advisory Council collective ideas created a list of recommendations that will hopefully assist municipal governments in becoming more innovative, effective, and responsive -- I'm proud to be part of this team."

This year, the Advisory Council made recommendations related to Disaster Recovery, Mental Health and Wellness in Cities, and Professional Development and Services.
