More highlights from City Council Meeting 8-8-22

City Council continues to work on providing the best living conditions for the citizens of Camilla. Monday night at the council meeting an update was provided on several city projects. Some of those improvements include:

Road Resurfacing (Fern Street, Twitty Street, Underwood Street, & Dogwood Street)
New Fence at Toombs Park
Two New Gateway Signs

The council is also working on ways to improve the quality of life here in Camilla. Monday night they approved a new ordinance (Ordinance No. 2022-08-08-01) relating to Licensed Beverage Caterers. The new ordinance will bring fresh opportunities and events to the city which will stimulate our city’s economic development.
