The goal of the Financial Administration Department is to provide sound financial leadership for the City of Camilla that maintains public trust, ensures financial stability, promotes accountability in government, and assures compliance with Federal, State, and Local Laws.
The Financial Administration Department, with a centralized financial management system, performs all accounts payable processing, payroll execution and report processing, general ledger system maintenance, distribution of financial information to internal and external users prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, investment and financing recommendations, assists the City Manager in preparing and administering the annual city budget, ensures budget compliance, and coordinates the annual external audit of the city's financial statements.
