The Public Works Department contributes to Camilla’s safe and attractive environment by maintaining parks, cemeteries, streets, roadways, right-of-ways, sidewalks, bridges, signage, and drainage infrastructure.
Employees in this department are committed to providing excellent customer service and a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained community for visitors and citizens to live, work, visit and enjoy.
The personnel employed by this department also maintain vehicles, fleet equipment, and assist other departments with equipment support and manpower. The workmanship and service provided in all respective areas of responsibility ensures the continuance of the excellent quality of life found in Camilla.
