As a full service city the City of Camilla provides electricity, water, sewer, internet, cable and phone services. Providing reliable and dependable utility services to our customers is a top priority for the City of Camilla Utilities Department. Our employees work daily to maintain and improve our infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted services are delivered to you. On those occasions when service gets disrupted for planned or unplanned events, we want to make sure you have accurate, timely information about what is occurring and any actions you should take.

In the event we need to contact you, we ask that you keep an updated phone number and address on record in the Customer Service Department located at City Hall. When calling to report an outage, please provide as much information as possible (traffic accident, loud noise/pop from transformer, tree limb on utility line, etc.). Your assistance in reporting outages will help us to quickly restore service.

PLANNED UTILITY OUTAGES
If a planned utility outage is scheduled for your address or neighborhood, all efforts to contact you by mail or phone will be made well in advance to provide the date, time, and length of the outage. Some reasons for planned outages include system maintenance to improve service reliability, system upgrades, and repairs.

UNPLANNED UTILITY OUTAGES
Utility outages can be caused by many things including traffic accidents, weather conditions, equipment failure, falling trees and limbs, high winds, and small animals. Call (229) 336-2220 during normal office hours to report service interruption or outages. After hours call (229) 336-2209.
