The 2nd Annual Camilla Juneteenth Celebration Festival sponsored by the City of Camilla and the Camilla Black Cultural Awareness Committee will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, from 11:00am - 7:00pm. The festival will take place on the grounds of the Mitchell County Courthouse.
A call for vendors and pageant contestants are currently being requested by the committee. There is a $35 vendor fee. Interested vendors should email the committee at camillablackculturalawareness@gmail.com.
Pageant Contestants must have been in grades ninth through twelfth during the school year and be a resident of Mitchell County and not over the age of 19. Contests will be judged on 50 percent stage presence in a formal wear competition and 50 percent communication skills during their self-introduction and on-stage questions.
