PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
On January 24, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. citizens in the outlined area of the map will experience an electrical outage due to a planned upgrade to the City's electrical infrastructure.
If you rely on electricity for medical equipment please have a plan in place to maintain use of your equipment during the outage. We encourage you to make sure your cell phones are charged and to unplug computers, televisions, and other sensitive electronics. Minimize opening refrigerator and freezer doors during the outage and check to make sure all heat-producing appliances (stoves, toasters, ovens, irons and hair appliances) are turned off. You are encouraged not to use indoor cookers, charcoal/gas grills, or gas appliances for heat.
The estimated duration of the outage is approximately 4 to 6 hours. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience and want you to know #TeamCamilla Electrical Department employees will work diligently to restore your electricity as soon as possible. Any available updates on the progress of the upgrades will be posted on the City's Facebook page, website (www.camillaga.net), and CNS Channel 10.
